During the recovery of historical memory of Cisitalia not only valuable information in the form of literature has emerged, but also other small treasures in which Cisitalia is the protagonist and which we would like to share with you here. They are a part of the Cisitalia magic and legend.
If you look for the date that CISITALIA was created, you will see there are two years in which it was founded: 1943 and 1946. We have decided to publish two documents as memoranda of association:
In the first one, dated 4 May 1943, the name CISITALIA appears for the first time. This reflects the merger of four companies in Turin, Italy:
Manifatture Bosco SA
Juventus – Organizzazione Sportiva SA
Palazzo del Ghiaccio e degli Sport SA
Piemonte Immobiliare SA
These four companies merged to form Manifatture Bosco - Compagnia Industriale Sportiva Italia (CISITALIA), which came into being on 1 January 1942.
In the second document, dated 8 March 1946, the name of the company has been changed and it was called ‘CISITALIA’ from then on. Construction of industrial machines and sports vehicles is defined as part of its company purpose.
